Meet Beccserica
Beccserica (pronounced Beccs Erica) was born in Dallas, Texas, and grew up in nearly every corner of the city. Her love for music started early with the violin in fourth grade, but everything shifted when her mom shared a childhood story. Her mother had wanted to play the flute, but her father bought her a trumpet instead—for school band and to play Taps for his enjoyment . That story stuck with Beccserica, and from then on, the flute became her instrument of choice from elementary through high school.
She wasn’t just about music, though—she was also a proud high school athlete. Her two loves, sports and music, eventually crossed paths when she got the chance to play on a women’s professional football team in the DFW area.
It all started one summer as a teen, riding in her uncle’s car, everything changed when DJ Magic Mike’s Feel the Bass came on. The arrangement, the cadence—it spoke to her. “If it speaks, it exists,” she says. And with that, her beat-making and lyric-writing journey began.
She explored her passion through different music scenes: joining a heavy metal Spanish band, collaborating with rap artists—none quite fit. Eventually, she shelved her musical dreams and pursued her education, earning a BS in Business Management and two Master’s degrees in Business and Finance.
Fast forward to spring 2025: what started as a fun AI-generated birthday promo song for her aunt’s party unexpectedly reignited her passion. Hearing her old lyrics and beats come to life through AI sparked something she thought she’d lost. Now, she's dusting off old notebooks and turning past ideas into present-day tracks.
She doesn’t know where this road will lead—but in her words, “just hearing what was once only imagined is worth the ride.”
